Training
M-I HDD, Mining and Waterwell management understands the importance of not only training our employees but also the customers we serve. Almost all employees of our company have been to an M-I sponsored mud engineering program at some point in their careers and have worked in the drilling fluids industry. This means our sales people and managers are well versed in drilling fluids technology and can provide assistance when required.
We offer two types of mud schools for our customers that help to provide drilling fluids education.
The first mud school is designed as a hands-on approach to drilling fluids education. It involves class and laboratory time in our Houston North Course facility and World Headquarters. We cover drilling fluids technology for your specific industry and offer solutions to common drilling problems. Students experience the benefits of drilling fluid systems in our North Course laboratory where they formulate drilling fluids and perform tests to verify the effect of each system. The North Course mud school is designed for larger customer groups and 4-6 weeks notice is required. The mud school is at no charge to the customer and transportation and meals are not provided.
The second mud school involves classroom seminars held at the customers’ location or at the M-I HDD Country or Regional Office. This short-course provides the tools our customers need to drill effectively and economically. Product demos are provided but there is no lab component. Again, 4-6 weeks notice is required for the short course.
To schedule your next M-I HDD, Mining and Waterwell mud school contact our office at 800-964-7866 or 1-303-572-3011. |
